Optimum Cartridge Pistons
Optimum® cartridge pistons are precision molded from high-density polyethylene to fit perfectly within Nordson EFD cartridges, preventing blow-by and leakage during filling and storage.
Unique channels help dissipate air during the filling process,reducing or eliminating the need to centrifuge. Dual wiping edges eliminate waste and residue to lower production costs and simplify disposal of used cartridges. Blue pistons have a smaller leading edge wiper. The looser fit reduces dripping or stringing during the dispensing of very thick fluids and the color makes it easy to see the piston position inside the cartridge.
