General Overview
ToolsControl is a solution that enables deployment of controller software outside of dedicated hardware. It enables a centralized management of tools and controllers while at the same time enabling automated problem solving. With its high performance and ease of use, ToolsControl increases efficiency for customers and improved uptime. In addition, ToolsControl supports connection of all Atlas Copco cordless assembly tools.

- Self-Healing
- ToolsControl continuously checks each virtual controller. When it detects an issue, it automatically fixes it within seconds, keeping production running smoothly without any operator action and within the required cycle time.
- Failover
- When ToolsControl detects a faulty hardware component, it automatically shifts all controllers to the remaining active components. The controllers are then restarted, reconnected to the tools, and brought back online. This automatic failover happens in just 8 seconds, compared to up to 30 minutes manually—giving you significantly more uptime.
- Single IP
- Tool Swap
- If a tightening tool fails, you’d normally have to connect it to the controller and reprogram it. With ToolsControl, a few clicks in the software automatically replace the tool—no operator action needed.
